Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the StayMinimal iPhone app and its widgets (“StayMinimal”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. The app is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; if anything here conflicts with it, Apple's agreement wins.
What StayMinimal does
StayMinimal helps you use your iPhone less: it runs focus sessions that pause apps and websites you choose using Apple's Screen Time, plays ambient sounds, offers a minimal Home Screen widget, bedtime schedules and progress stats.
Free trial
Every feature is free for 7 days from the first time you open the app. You do not need to enter payment details, and you are not charged when the trial ends. After 7 days, the app asks you to choose a plan to keep using it.
Subscriptions and purchases
- StayMinimal Monthly: auto-renewing subscription, renews every month.
- StayMinimal Yearly: auto-renewing subscription, renews every year.
- StayMinimal Lifetime: a one-time purchase that unlocks the app for good. It does not renew.
Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy, in your local currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends, at the then-current price.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or from StayMinimal's Settings › Premium › Manage subscription. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- To restore a purchase on a new or reset iPhone, open Settings › Premium › Restore purchases in the app.
Using the app
- App pausing depends on Apple's Screen Time, which you must allow. We can't guarantee that every app or website will always be paused, since this is controlled by iOS.
- In strict mode you cannot end a session early from StayMinimal. Choose strict mode only when you are sure.
- Phone and Settings are never paused by iOS. Don't rely on StayMinimal for anything safety-critical, and keep emergency calling available.
- StayMinimal is a self-help tool, not a medical treatment or a parental control service.
- Please don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app.
Sounds and content
The sounds, text and design in StayMinimal belong to us or our licensors and are provided for your personal use within the app.
Disclaimer
StayMinimal is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed messages or calls while apps were paused. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app changes. We will post the new version here with a new date. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
