Open StayMinimal and follow “Set up focus” on the Home screen. Allow Screen Time, pick the apps that distract you, and tap a mode. For a minimal Home Screen, follow “Your minimal home”, which walks you through the widget, wallpaper and Dock.

Screen Time is how iOS lets an app pause other apps. Apple keeps your app list private, so StayMinimal never sees which apps you use.

Check that Screen Time is allowed: open StayMinimal › Settings › Modes › your mode, and look at the top of the Blocking section. Make sure the app is in that mode's list. If you changed Screen Time settings recently, restart your iPhone once.

Tap End session in the app, or End on the pause screen. In strict mode there is no way to end early; the apps come back when the timer finishes.

Phone and Settings are never paused. Keep apps like Messages or WhatsApp available by leaving them off your list, or by adding them as essentials in Essentials-only modes.

Check that the mode's sound is on (Settings › Modes › your mode › Sound) and your media volume is up. Sleep starts without sound unless you choose one.

Press and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, search for StayMinimal and choose a size. On the Lock Screen, press and hold, tap Customize, then the area under the clock.

iOS doesn't let other apps open them. Phone opens your contacts (tap a number to call) and Camera opens StayMinimal's own camera, which saves to Photos.

Try “Start Focus in StayMinimal”, “Start Study for 50 minutes in StayMinimal” or “Turn on Minimal Mode in StayMinimal”.

7 days from the first time you open the app, with every feature included and no card needed. Reinstalling the app does not restart the trial.

In StayMinimal, open Settings › Premium › Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.

On your iPhone, open Settings › your name › Subscriptions › StayMinimal and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

StayMinimal stores everything on your iPhone only, so deleting the app deletes your data. There's no account to close. See the Privacy Policy for details.
